Kurt Lennart LundbäckCEO & Founder
Kurt-Lennart Lundbäck has been active in the field of computing since 1972 with broad experience in industrial environments. He is experienced in many facets of computing and computer-based systems, including systems and software engineering, real-time, programming languages and compilers, operating systems as well as various real-time application domains. He has studied mathematics, economics and computer science at Stockholm University. He is a Life Member of the IEEE. He has participated in a research project defining a distributed real-time architecture developed for vehicle internal use in the automotive industry. He founded the company Arcticus Systems AB, a Swedish corporation in 1985. He has many years of experience and excellent competence of real-time software development both as manufacturer and system engineer in software projects.

At an Academic Ceremony at Mälardalens University on 26 April 2013, Kurt-Lennart Lundbäckan received an honorary doctoral degree.

John LundbäckExecutive Director
John Lundbäck has been at Arcticus Systems for more than 20 years and is the principle architect for the Rubus Product Line toolset. He has received his education at KTH Royal Technology Institute and Stockholm University.

He is experienced in a wide range of computing and computer-based systems, including software engineering, real-time, programming languages, compilers, operating systems as well as various real-time application domains from low-level assembly to complex multi-tasking software running in safety critical environments.

He has responsibility for managing technical research projects at Arcticus Systems and is the Senior Technical Consultant for all of our clients.
