Swedsoft
Swedsoft is an industry initiative to strengthen Swedish competitiveness with regards to research and development of software intensive systems, services, and products.
The initiatives founders and financiers include ABB AB, Ericsson AB, Saab AB and Arcticus Systems AB from industry, as well as the Swedish Institute of Computer Science (SICS), Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH), IT Univeristy of Gothenburg, Linköping University (LiU), Lund University Faculty of Engineering (LTH), and Mälardalen University (MdH).
One key factor to strengthen the Swedish competitiveness is to have access to a state of art infrastructure. The infrastructure also provides a base for advanced research and constitutes a link from reserach to industiral applications. A key role for companies as Arcticus Systems
